Another Decisive Debate Win For Deb Fischer

October 1, 2012

“While Senator Fischer outlined her proposals to create jobs, provide middle-class tax relief, pass a balanced budget amendment and implement market-based health care reform, Bob Kerrey reiterated his support for government-run health care, tax hikes on the middle-class, and Obamacare’s $700 billion in cuts to Medicare.”

“Bob Kerrey clearly demonstrated why he’s out of touch with Nebraska. Trailing badly in the polls and unable to run on his liberal record, Kerrey resorted to launching false attacks against Senator Fischer throughout the debate.”

OMAHA Nebraska, September 28, 2012 - Following today’s KETV-Omaha Chamber of Commerce Debate, Fischer campaign spokesman Daniel Keylin released the following statement:

“Today, Nebraskans had another chance to see the stark differences between Senator Deb Fischer and Bob Kerrey.

“While Senator Fischer outlined her proposals to create jobs, provide middle-class tax relief, pass a balanced budget amendment and implement market-based health care reform, Bob Kerrey reiterated his support for government-run health care, tax hikes on the middle-class, and Obamacare’s $700 billion in cuts to Medicare.

“Bob Kerrey clearly demonstrated why he’s out of touch with Nebraska. Trailing badly in the polls and unable to run on his liberal record, Kerrey resorted to launching false attacks against Senator Fischer throughout the debate.

“Unfortunately for Bob Kerrey, Nebraskans want a commonsense conservative who will bring the Nebraska Way to Washington, not a New York liberal who will be an automatic vote for the failed big-government policies of President Obama and Harry Reid.”
